The Women's Philanthropy Society of Cabell Huntington Hospital is a select group of women who meet once a year at a luncheon to celebrate the caring spirit of women. When a woman accepts the invitation to join us for lunch, she commits to a gift of $100 to the Cabell Huntington Hospital Foundation to benefit Women's and Children's Health. The annual luncheon, which takes place the first Saturday in March, is a venue to encourage philanthropy and honor outstanding women of the Tri-State. Each year, two distinctive awards are given to individuals who exemplify the heart, strength and compassion of women:

  • The FOCUS AWARD honors achievements in volunteerism, women's health, community service, professional achievement and/or home and family.
  • The KITTY HAGE LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD is presented to an individual whose life's work has been dedicated to humanitarian efforts. The award is designed for someone who has not sought recognition for her deeds, but has worked solely to better her community and the quality of life for others.
