Sponsored by the American Cancer Society, this class features volunteer beauty professionals offering free, practical, hands-on advice to women undergoing cancer treatment. Participants learn about makeup
techniques, skincare, nail care, and options related to hair loss such as wigs, turbans, and scarves. Classes take place in the resource center of the Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center on the campus of Cabell Huntington Hospital. Each participant receives a free kit of cosmetics for use during and after the workshop. Participants must sign up three weeks prior to the class date so that kits may be ordered.
