Free Prostate Screening Exams
Last updated: 08/14/2008
Life is precious. Help protect yours with a simple screening, available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, September 5, 2008 at the Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center. Exams will include a digital rectal exam for all participants and a free PSA blood test for those warranting one. The screening is designed for men between the ages of 50 and 75 who haven't had a screening in more than a year. A prostate screening is especially important for men who are African American or who have unusual urinary symptoms or those with a family history of prostate cancer because these are known risk factors.
Appointments are required; please call (304) 526-2695 to make one.
