Region's First Orthopedic Oncologist Joins CHH Medical Staff

Felix H. Cheung, MD
Felix H. Cheung, MD, has joined the Medical and Dental Staff at Cabell Huntington Hospital and the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine as an assistant professor in the Department of Orthopedics. Dr. Cheung is fellowship-trained in musculoskeletal oncology and is the region's only orthopedic surgeon who specializes in orthopedic oncology. He performs specialized orthopedic treatments for bone and soft-tissue cancers and the latest techniques in limb-sparing reconstruction.
Dr. Cheung's arrival at Cabell Huntington Hospital, recognized by HealthGrades® as the best-rated provider for overall orthopaedic services in the Tri-State region, adds to the hospital's comprehensive and leading-edge orthopedic services that include total joint replacement, orthopedic sports medicine, hand and foot care, orthopedic trauma care and back and spine care. Dr. Cheung completed his musculoskeletal oncology fellowship at Harvard Medical School and his orthopedic residency at West Virginia University. He earned his medical degree at the University of Virginia School of Medicine.
