Fellowship-trained endocrinologist joins CHH Medical/Dental Staff

Tipu Saleem, MD
Endocrinologist Tipu Saleem, MD, has joined the Medical and Dental Staff at Cabell Huntington Hospital and the Marshall University Department of Internal Medicine at the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. Dr. Saleem has special interests in new medicines and protocols to help with weight reduction and glucose control to manage diabetes in patients. He also has additional training in thyroid ultrasound and ultrasound-guided biopsy for early detection of thyroid cancer. Dr. Saleem is fellowship-trained in endocrinology, completing that training at the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. He completed his internal medicine residency at Lincoln Medical Center at Cornell University.
