CHH Now Offering Free Electronic Greeting Cards for Patients

In its continued effort to improve the experience patients have at Cabell Huntington Hospital, the hospital's administration is now offering free electronic greeting cards through its web site.
Once a card has been selected from the options on the website, it will be printed out and hand-delivered by a hospital auxiliary member to the patient. Cards may also be sent to staff members.
"E-cards are simple to send, and they really mean a lot to our patients, especially when patients are only admitted for a day or two," said Chris Koenig, web content manager for Cabell Huntington Hospital. "E-cards arrive faster than cards delivered through the mail."
Cards that are ordered by noon on weekdays will be delivered on the same day they are ordered. Cards ordered after noon on weekdays or anytime on weekends or holidays will be delivered the next business day.
If a patient has been discharged, the card will not be delivered to his or her home.
