For the third year in a row, the joint replacement program at Cabell Huntington Hospital has been recognized as the best-rated program in the Huntington/Tri-State region and in the top 10 percent in the nation, based on outstanding quality in joint replacement procedures.
The Twelfth Annual HealthGrades® Hospital Quality in America Study released today announced the following quality achievements for Cabell Huntington Hospital:
- Recipient of the HealthGrades Joint Replacement Excellence Award (three years in a row)
- Top 10% in nation (three years in a row)
- Top ranked in Huntington and the Tri-State Area for joint replacement and overall orthopedics
- Five star rated in knee replacement (three years in a row)
- Five star rated in joint replacement (three years in a row)
As an independent reviewer of hospital quality, HealthGrades analyzes patient outcomes for nearly all of the country's 5,000 hospitals and releases results of the study to rank patient outcomes.
