After a minor fire closed Uno's Chicago Grill at Pullman Square Thursday, General Manager Matthew Greene wanted to bounce back by giving back to his community and customers. Beginning today and continuing for seven days, Greene will sell the restaurant's Roasted Red Pepper Pizza for $1.99 each and donate the proceeds to the Cabell Huntington Hospital Children's Hospital project. The sale is an effort to thank customers for their patience while the store repaired the damaged equipment that caught fire.

"When something like this fire impacts your business, it's easy to be negative but I wanted to do something positive as we open back up for customers," Greene said. "I think it is absolutely important that we support our local health care providers, and this Children's Hospital project should be on the top of everyone's list."

Greene has a personal connection to Cabell Huntington Hospital's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit because his now four-year-old child spent the first week of life in the hospital.

"It was amazing how wonderful they were to us while we were in that hospital," Greene said.

Uno's opens at 11 a.m. daily and the restaurant can be contacted by calling (304) 697-8667. For more information about the Children's Hospital project at Cabell Huntington Hospital, please click here or contact Velma Workman at (304) 526-6314 or velma.workman@chhi.org.
