CHH's Chris Carter certified as nurse executive

Cabell Huntington Hospital Associate Director of Nursing Chris Carter, MSN, RN, NE-BC, recently earned certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Board Certified Nurse Executive. Carter, a longtime Cabell Huntington Hospital employee, has served in nursing leadership for more than two years and currently oversees several hospital areas including adult critical care, the Emergency Department, pediatric intensive care and pediatrics.

To earn his board certification, Carter met strong professional development standards and has demonstrated excellence in leadership, nursing research, fiscal management, human resource management and nursing innovations.
