Shelley Bailey, MD

Shelley Bailey, MD, is relocating from the Cabell Huntington Hospital Women's and Family Medical Center in Huntington to the hospital's Family Medical Center in Milton. She will begin seeing patients in Milton on Monday, October 15.

Bailey will be taking the place of David Ayers, MD, who is currently seeing patients at the center. He is leaving the state at the end of October. In addition to Dr. Bailey, two nurse practitioners, Bridget Cunningham, RN, FNP , and Rachel Conrad, RN, C-FNP, will continue to see patients at the center.

"I'm excited about the move," Bailey said. "My family and I live in Scott Depot, which is much closer to Milton than Huntington. I think that will afford me more opportunities to take part in the community and provide care for people in eastern Cabell County and Putnam County."

Bailey's husband, Steve Hensley, is the baseball coach for Winfield High School and the youth pastor at Good Shepherd Baptist Church. The couple have one daughter.

Dr. Bailey's current patients who wish to follow her to Milton may call (304) 743-1407 to make an appointment with her there. Patients who wish to remain with Women's and Family Care will be referred to Patti Jo Marcum, MD, who is joining the practice Tuesday, October 16.
