Darrell Morrison named manager of EKG/ECHO department at CHH

Darrell Morrison, RN, has been named manager of the EKG/ECHO Department at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Morrison has worked at Cabell Huntington Hospital since July 2000, most recently in the Heart Catheterization Lab. He earned his bachelor's degree from Marshall University in biology and his nursing degree from St. Mary's School of Nursing.

The EKG/ECHO lab complements the cardiology services at Cabell Huntington Hospital by providing echocardiogram tests that create moving pictures of a patient's heart using sound waves. EKGs, or electrocardiograms, are used to record the electrical activity of the heart and locate cardiac problems. The EKG/ECHO Department can be contacted by calling (304) 526-2066.
