David A. Graley has joined Cabell Huntington Hospital as vice president and chief operating officer of the Cabell Huntington Hospital Foundation. Graley spent more than three decades serving local banking clients with JPMorgan Chase Bank and its predecessors Bank One and The First Huntington National Bank. Most recently, Graley was president of JPMorgan Chase in the company's Huntington office before retiring in early March.
With the Cabell Huntington Hospital Foundation, Graley's initial project will be raising funds for a proposed children's hospital within Cabell Huntington Hospital. Graley said he is passionate about adding this much-needed facility so children and their families will not have to travel outside the community to receive comprehensive, state-of-the art pediatric services.
Graley has served extensively on community and civic organization boards, including the Tri-State Boy Scouts, Huntington Regional Chamber of Commerce, the West Virginia Biotech Alliance and the Huntington Area Development Council. He has also been honored several times for his volunteer service, including being named a Distinguished West Virginian in 2005 and being honored by Gov. Joe Manchin with a Commendation for Volunteer Service in 2006.
