CHH sponsors Medical Explorer Post program for students interested in medical field

Cabell Huntington Hospital invites high school students who are interested in pursuing a career in the medical field to participate in a Medical Explorer Post at the hospital.
Medical Explorer is a program for students ages 14-20 who are interested in medical services. Students take part in workshops, hands-on experiences and they will listen to guest speakers from Cabell Huntington Hospital. Medical Explorers will meet once a month and each session will last about one hour.
For example, the first event focused on Radiology, and students and parents toured the Radiology Department and learned how medical imaging technologies like X-Ray, CT and MRI play a role in health care.
A $7 annual registration fee is due at the first event.
