The Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers Instructor Course teaches the skills and critical concepts of high-quality CPR, the use of an AED for victims of all ages and how to relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. It is designed for healthcare professionals whose careers require a course completion card, such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, respiratory therapists, physical and occupational therapists, physician assistants, medical or nursing students, aides, medical or nursing assistants and other allied health personnel. Participants are required to have a current BLS card.
