Lisa Chamberlin, MSA, ACHE, Vice President of Strategic Marketing, Planning and Business Development for Cabell Huntington Hospital, has been selected as 2014 Top Marketer of the Year by DTC Perspectives in recognition of her efforts in hospital marketing. She was selected as a Top Marketer following a lengthy process that included an industry-wide nomination process and a review by key industry insiders and marketing executives. She will be honored at the Hospital Marketing National Conference in Baltimore June 12.
The Top Hospital Marketers award recognizes extraordinary hospital marketers who drive innovation, spearhead great creative material and work toward better branding for their hospital, health system or facility. Honorees are judged based on industry reputation, accomplishments, innovation and notoriety among their peers, partners and media.
“As hospital marketing continues to make progress, and branding becomes more important to consumers, we must recognize the individuals leading their hospitals with great marketing work,” said Bob Ehrlich, CEO, DTC Perspectives.
A Salem, Ohio, native with more than 20 years of healthcare marketing experience, Lisa has worked with leaders and teams across the nation, ensuring successful strategic marketing and communications. She earned her Master of Science degree in Healthcare Administration and Business Administration at the University of West Florida, and her Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Communications from Mount Union University in Alliance, Ohio. She is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the American Hospital Association’s Society for Healthcare Strategy for Marketing and Development and the Association for Strategic Planning, and she serves on the Huntington Symphony Orchestra Board.
