Jeffrey K. Harris, MD, a fellowship-trained heart specialist for children, has joined the medical staffs at the Hoops Family Children’s Hospital and Marshall Pediatrics. He earned his medical degree at the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. He completed his fellowship training in pediatric cardiology at the Medical University of South Carolina and his residency training in pediatrics at the University of Virginia.
Dr. Harris diagnoses and treats heart murmur, congenital or acquired heart disease, chest pain, syncope (fainting), abnormal heart rhythm and heart disease in young athletes. He is now accepting new patients To make an appointment with Dr. Harris, please call 304-691-1300.
The Hoops Family Children’s Hospital, a 71-bed children’s hospital within Cabell Huntington Hospital, is a member of the Children’s Hospital Association and includes a 36-bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, a 25-bed General Pediatrics Unit and a 10-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. The facility is currently undergoing a $12 million renovation project.
