One in three people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetimes, and the other two will know someone who is. We often show support for loved ones by wearing ribbons in colors that represent particular kinds of cancer. Although the type of cancer that affects each of us may be different, we are united in honoring and supporting people with cancer.
The Colors of Cancer 5K Run/Walk is an opportunity to work together to build awareness, offer encouragement and raise funds to beat cancer. You’re invited to wear any and all of the colors of cancer (the wilder, the better) to the event to symbolize our unity of purpose and celebrate survivors.
Proceeds from the race will be used to assist patients receiving care at the Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center. Funds may be directed to benefit patients receiving care for specific cancers by using the selections provided on the registration panel of the brochure. Register a group of family and friends online, and join us as we unite to raise money, offer encouragement and celebrate cancer survivors!
