Cabell Huntington Hospital and the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine have added a fifth fellowship-trained endocrinologist, Lola Olajide, MD, to the Medical Staff. Dr. Olajide specializes in treating adult with diabetes, thyroid problems, adrenal lesions, pituitary conditions and bone metabolic diseases such as osteoporosis. She has a special interest in helping patients with the management of diabetes and thyroid disease.
She completed a fellowship in endocrinology and her internal medicine residency at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Dr. Olajide earned her medical degree at the College of Medicine at the University of Ibadan in Nigeria. She is board-certified in internal medicine and endocrinology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Olajide joins the largest single group of board-certified and fellowship-trained endocrinologists in West Virginia and the Huntington/Tri-State area, and she will see patients at the Bruce S.
