Cabell Huntington Hospital and the Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center invite men age 50 and older to a free prostate screening on September 18 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Although men over 50 could be at the highest risk for prostate cancer, men age 40 and older are also encouraged to be screened if they are at higher risk of prostate cancer, such as those who are African American and/or men with a family history of prostate cancer. The exam includes a free PSA blood test and a digital rectal exam for all participants.
Appointments are necessary and may be made by calling 304-526-2379.
