My Health File Patient Portal

With family, work, community and social obligations, life can get hectic. Cabell Huntington Hospital invites you to enroll in My Health File, a free tool to help you manage your health online. My Health File is your patient portal — a secure website that gives you convenient, 24-hour access to your personal health information from anywhere with an internet connection.

What You Can Do

My Health File offers timely, convenient access to clinical summaries, test results and health information related to your inpatient or outpatient visits, procedures or tests at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Because My Health File offers a snapshot of each hospital experience, it is an important tool to use in conjunction with your physician’s patient portal. Enrolling in My Health File allows you to:

  • View, download and/or transmit medical records/results from Cabell Huntington Hospital inpatient and outpatient visits, procedures or tests
  • Review medications, allergies and immunizations as listed on the medical record at the time you received care
  • Request appointments for self‐referral tests, including mammograms and non-invasive screenings for heart and vascular disease
  • See upcoming appointments you have scheduled with any department at Cabell Huntington Hospital.
  • Find additional information about health conditions or diseases of concern

Manage the Care of Others

You can also use My Health File to help manage the care of your loved ones, including:

  • minor dependents
  • dependent adults
  • adult patients who want to grant access to another adult, such as a father granting access to an adult daughter who helps manage his care.

Using My Health File to view another patient's information is called proxy access, and you can learn more about proxy access here.

To Enroll

Just provide your email address when you register for a test or procedure, and you will receive an invitation email with a link to the portal enrollment page the same day. You can also register by calling 304.526.2010. Learn more in the My Health File FAQs.

Access to My Health File is available at no cost. Once you are enrolled, you can access My Health File from the link on the home page of this website.
