Cardiac Intensive Care Unit

Cabell Huntington Hospital's Cardiac Intensive Care Unit treats patients with acute coronary syndrome, congestive heart failure or advanced heart disease and those who have had cardiac catheterizations and vascular surgeries. The nursing staff has a strong history of working closely with cardiac physicians as well as nearly 100 years of combined experience working in either ICU or with heart patients.
Along with diagnostic cardiac catheterization, aggressive treatment of chest pain and heart attack in the Emergency Department and one of the longest running cardiopulmonary rehabilitation programs in West Virginia, the unit complements Cabell Huntington Hospital's commitment to meeting the needs of patients with cardiopulmonary illnesses.
