Home Health

Because being at home is always your first choice, Cabell Huntington Hospital makes recovering at home possible through its Home Healthcare service, a comfortable and less expensive alternative to long hospital stays or nursing home care. Patients develop a one-on-one relationship with the Home Health nurse, who provides them with individualized skilled care in the familiar surroundings of home. The hospital offers intermittent skilled nursing, laboratory services, physical therapy, speech therapy, dietitians, nurse aides, medical social services and pharmacy services.

The Home Health Department serves patients in Cabell, Wayne, Lincoln and Putnam counties in West Virginia, Lawrence County, Ohio and Boyd County, Kentucky. For more information call: (304) 526-2075.

This was the second consecutive year it was honored, and only 19 agencies in the top 100 in 2007 were in the top 100 again for 2008.
