Pediatric and adolescent gynecology is an emerging specialty that focuses on a wide spectrum of gynecologic disorders in girls and teens, such as pelvic pain, menstrual disorders, concerns with development and many other gynecologic conditions related to the uterus, ovaries, vagina and vulva. Care is provided in an atmosphere that allows patients as well as parents to feel comfortable talking about their health.
Dr. Jennie Yoost earned her medical degree at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology was completed at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. She then returned to Louisville to complete her fellowship training in pediatric and adolescent gynecology at Kosair Children’s Hospital and the University of Louisville Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a member of the Cabell Huntington Hospital medical staff and sees patients in her office in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Marshall University Joan C.
