The Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy and Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation units use a variety of tools and techniques such as exercise, gait training, pain management, training in the activities of daily living and speech/language training to help you regain your strength and functioning.
With a physician's referral, you will be evaluated and an individual treatment program will be developed for your specific problems and needs. Each client's plan of treatment is developed individually. Rehabilitation services are offered in the SMART Center, the Balance Center, the YMCA and/or the Rehabilitation Department on the Fourth Floor of the hospital. The location of your therapy will be determined by your plan of care. Every effort is made to coordinate appointments for your convenience.
