Cabell Huntington Hospital helps patients recover from illness or injury through its Rehabilitation Services Department. Therapy during a patient's hospital stay and after returning home can be vital to resuming an active lifestyle.
The Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy and Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation units use a variety of tools and techniques such as exercise, gait training, pain management, training in the activities of daily living and speech/language training to help patients regain strength and functioning.
