The Surgical Weight Control Team

Dr. Nease performs the full range of surgical weight-control procedures, including gastric bypass, adjustable gastric band, duodenal switch and sleeve gastrectomy. In addition to his full-time surgical responsibilities, he serves as the medical and surgical director of the Center for Surgical Weight Control. Dr. Nease sees all patients during their pre- and post-operative visits and conducts all educational seminars.

Tabitha triages phone calls, answers patients surgical questions, schedules tests, and follows up with patients at every office visit, but her priority is overseeing patient care from initial consult with the surgeon to post-operative follow-up care to ensure that the best care possible is provided.

As a gastric bypass patient herself, Jackie personally understands the patent's perspective. She works with patients and their insurance companies to obtain pre-authorization for their selected bariatric procedure. She answers patients’ insurance questions and schedules surgeries.

Charlotte is the first contact for patients who are interested in weight-loss surgery. She registers patients for seminars and works with them to collect all of the documentation required by their insurance companies. Charlotte is also an adjustable gastric band patient.

Marsha conducts the pre-operative dietary class and educates patients on the lifetime post-operative dietary protocols they must follow. She follows up with patients at every office visit.

Ronna conducts pre-operative education for patients and sees them at every follow-up visit to review their medications and check vital signs. 304-399-4119

Vicki answers calls and directs them to the appropriate person for action. She schedules patients for appointments and accepts co-pays.
