Marshall Health Network to host drive-thru flu shot clinics

Stay Healthy, Stay Protected: Get your Flu Vaccine Today!

The flu can knock you down for days, but a quick and simple vaccine can keep you healthy and strong all season long. Getting your flu shot is a small step that will make a big difference for you and for your community. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommend an annual flu vaccination for everyone six months and older, as the flu vaccine is the best way to protect against flu and its potentially serious complications.

Free Drive-Thru Flu Shot Clinics

Marshall Health Network will offer free drive-thru flu shot clinics on Saturday, October 12, for adults 16 and older (parent or guardian must be present for consent for minors) at two locations. Anyone with egg allergies should receive vaccinations from their primary care provider and children should receive vaccines from their pediatrician. Shots will be offered from 8 to 11 a.m., or while supplies last at two locations:

• St. Mary’s Center for Education, 2853 Fifth Ave., Huntington
• St. Mary’s Family Care Center – Hurricane, 47 Willow Tree Way, Hurricane

Flu shots are also available and can be billed to most insurances for a low copay at one of our convenient pharmacies or clinics. Please visit one of the following locations during listed business hours.
