Patients from infancy though adulthood may receive services while in the hospital or as an outpatient in one of our many facilities. Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy use a variety of tools and techniques to help you regain or maintain your optimal level of strength and functioning. Physical therapy works with individuals following an injury, birth defect or a developmental delay. Patients are evaluated and an individual treatment program is developed for your specific needs. Speech therapy involves the evaluation and treatment of articulation, language, voice, fluency, feeding and swallowing disorders for patients from infants to the elderly. Our outpatient Speech Therapy staff includes specialists in: Dysphagia/swallowing, Voice, Speech/Language Development, Aphasia, Dysarthria, pediatrics & adults. Occupational therapy helps you achieve or improve your independent living skills after illness or injury or in coping with a chronic condition. Our outpatient Occupational Therapy staff includes specialists in functional capacity evaluations, hand and upper extremity injuries & splint fabrication, lymphedema therapy and Herdman Vestibular Balance System and functional capacity evaluations.
