Cabell Huntington Hospital is a 303-bed regional referral center offering a comprehensive range of advanced medical and surgical services. A teaching hospital associated with the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine, Cabell Huntington Hospital is the region's leader in trauma, maternity, neonatal, pediatric and joint replacement care and is the leading provider of minimally invasive robotic surgical services. Patients enjoy staying in the $84 million patient tower completed in 2007 that replaced most of the hospital's beds, created state-of-the-art clinical areas and doubled the size of its Level II Emergency/Trauma Center. The hospital adjoins the $44 million Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center, which offers surgical and medical oncology and hematology services for pediatric and adult patients. Off-campus Cabell Huntington Hospital facilities include an urgent care center, four family medical centers, a wound care center and a surgery center.
Medical Affairs handles credentialing, meetings and other related issues for Cabell Huntington Hospital’s medical staff of approximately 410 physicians.
