The Joint Commission conducts tri-annual accreditation surveys of Cabell Huntington Hospital to evaluate our compliance with nationally established standards that affect patient care. The survey results from August of 2005 have determined that full accreditation status has been awarded to Cabell Huntington Hospital.

Joint Commission standards deal with the quality of care issues in the organization and safety of the environment in which care is provided. Anyone believing that he/she has pertinent and valid information about such matters with the hospital may contact Joint Commission. When submitting a complaint to Joint Commission about an accredited organization, you may either provide your name and contact information or submit your complaint anonymously. Providing your name and contact information allows the Joint Commission to inform you about the actions taken in response to your complaint, and to contact you should additional information be needed.
