For the second consecutive year, Cabell Huntington Hospital, a member of Mountain Health Network, has been named to the Forbes list of America’s Best Employers in West Virginia for 2023. This list was produced by Forbes in partnership with Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider.
“This recognition demonstrates our strong commitment to our employees,” said Tim Martin, chief operating officer for CHH. “Employees who work at Cabell Huntington Hospital have always known that it’s a highly reliable health care organization where they are proud to work, and we are proud to be known amongst the best employers in West Virginia.”
America's Best-in-State Employers 2023 were identified based on 2.1 million employer recommendations from employees working for companies with more than 500 employees in the U.S. The recommended employers have been grouped into one of 25 industry sectors. Employers with operations in more than one state were ranked in multiple states.
The evaluation was made on a state-by-state basis and is based on three distinct criteria: in-state indirect recommendations, national in-industry indirect recommendations, and direct recommendations. Employees were asked to give opinions about their current employer on a series of statements surrounding work-related topics, including working conditions, diversity, salary, potential for development and company image.
