Marshall Health Network Center for Wound Healing Receives RestorixHealth’s Center of Excellence Award for Fourth Time

Marshall Health Network is honored to announce that Cabell Huntington Hospital’s (CHH) Center for Wound Healing is a recipient of RestorixHealth’s highest achievement, the Wound Center of Excellence Award. It’s awarded twice per year for the periods January-June and July-December.
Recipients of this prestigious award meet or exceed national wound care quality benchmarks. This marks the fourth time CHH has received this honor.
The Wound Center of Excellence Award recognizes wound centers that have demonstrated exceptional success by meeting or exceeding clinical, operational and patient satisfaction benchmarks.
“This award reflects the high-quality care our wound healing center provides our patients every day,” said David Denning, MD, FACS, medical director of the Center for Wound Healing and professor in the Department of Surgery at the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. “Our team is dedicated to helping patients heal and improve their quality of life.”
The Center for Wound Healing specializes in treating chronic, non-healing wounds caused by diabetes, circulation issues or radiation injuries. With a team of experienced doctors, nurses and technicians, trained in wound care and hyperbaric medicine, the center offers advanced treatments designed to speed up healing and improve patient outcomes.
The Center for Wound Healing is located at 1600 Medical Center Drive, Suite 2500, and is open Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
