Marshall Health Network Announces Retirement of Director of Organizational Learning and Development

Marshall Health Network (MHN) announces the retirement of Jo Andrea “Andy” Watson, RN, DNP, MSN, CCRN, as Director of Organizational Learning and Development after an extraordinary 46-year career dedicated to education, training and professional development in healthcare.

Watson began her career with Marshall Health Network at St. Mary’s Medical Center in 1979 and has since been a driving force in shaping learning initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and mentoring countless professionals. Under her leadership, the Learning and Development team expanded programs designed to enhance employee growth and elevate patient care.

“Andy Watson’s decades of dedicated service and leadership have left a lasting legacy,” said Regina Campbell, MHN Chief Nursing Officer. “Her influence on the professionals she has mentored over the years is immeasurable. As we celebrate her well-earned retirement, we wish her all the best in the journey ahead.”

Watson plans to travel, spend time with family and friends and volunteer teaching life support classes. While she will be greatly missed, her legacy of excellence and dedication will continue to shape the future of learning and development at Marshall Health Network.
