Registration is now open for a summer series of Kids Cooking Camps at Huntington’s Kitchen, the community culinary and education center operated by Marshall Health Network.

Designed for ages 8 and older, the hands-on camps offer immersive culinary experiences that encourage creativity, build confidence and introduce students to cooking techniques, kitchen safety and global flavors in a fun, supportive environment.

Each four-day camp runs from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and is limited to 16 participants to provide a more personalized experience. Camp sessions will be offered June 15-18, June 22-25, July 13-16 and July 20-23. The cost is $300 per session, per participant.

Throughout the camps, Chef Izzy Cross, director of Huntington’s Kitchen, will guide students in preparing a variety of meals and snacks inspired by cuisines from around the world while learning practical kitchen skills and teamwork. Featured menu items include sushi rolls, curry noodles, quiche Lorraine, quesadillas, bruschetta, pancakes, street corn cups and more.

Located in downtown Huntington, Huntington’s Kitchen serves as Marshall Health Network’s community culinary center focused on nutrition education, healthy cooking and wellness programming. The facility hosts cooking classes, demonstrations and educational events designed to make healthy living approachable and engaging for individuals and families across the region.

“Our cooking camps provide students with an opportunity to gain confidence in the kitchen while exploring new foods and learning valuable life skills,” Cross said. “It’s a fun, hands-on experience that encourages creativity, healthy habits and lasting memories.”

Space is limited and advance registration is encouraged. For more information or to register, visit huntingtonskitchen.mhnfoundations.org.
