Marshall Health Network hospitals recognized in inaugural Castle Connolly Top Hospitals awards

Marshall Health Network’s Cabell Huntington Hospital and St. Mary’s Medical Center have been recognized among Castle Connolly’s 2025 Top Hospital Awards for excellence in key medical procedures.

Cabell Huntington Hospital earned the State Gold Standard Award, the highest level of recognition, for C-section surgery, underscoring its commitment to advancing maternal and infant health. St. Mary’s Medical Center received the State Gold Standard Award for hernia repair surgery, reflecting its dedication to superior surgical care and patient outcomes.

Castle Connolly’s Top Hospitals designation is a new distinction, highlighting some of the nation’s leading healthcare institutions. The inaugural list recognizes over 1,400 hospitals for their excellence in performing specific medical procedures.
